2019 CROP WALK/TURKEY TROT HELD AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL THIS PAST SUNDAY

(11-24-2019)

Approximately 180 participants ran/walked either the CROP/Turkey Trot 2.57 mile or 1.7 mile shortened variation of the longer course on Sunday, the 24th of November, 2019. Turkeys and pumpkin pies were awarded via random drawing after the run/walk. All donations collected will be utilized by the CROP and LA Cares charitable organizations to help the needy.

THE BEST TIME PREDICTORS FOR THE 2019 PACE RACE SEASON

The Best time predictors for the 2019 Atomic City Road Runners Club pace race season (the top 5 predictors are recognized from their 10 best run predictions where the delta time totals added up to the lowest amount in seconds as compared with all other Club members utilizing the same format. Delta time being the difference in seconds between the participant's stated time for a run and the actual recorded time for that run. The winners were awarded cash prizes):

SNOW IS BEST PREDICTOR IN FINAL PACE OF SEASON

(10-1-2019)

Mary Snow was the top predictor in the final pace race of the 2019 season held on the Canyon Rim Trail at 2 seconds off her predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Beth Davenport with a 6 second differential, Zach Medin recording a 7 second difference, Sonja Behnke and 9 year old Simon Pratt in a tie at 9 seconds off, and Ryan Smeltzer recording a 13 second differential.

On the 1 mile course Sean Thomas was the first finisher at 7:40 and 11 year old Sophie Saenz was the top female with a time of 10:19.

Ted Romero was the best finisher in the 3 mile distance recording a 20:20 and Sanna Sevanto was the first female at 23:02.

Next year's 2020 pace season will start at the Canyon Rim Trailhead on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 at 6:00 PM.

The Annual Turkey Trot will be held on Sunday, November 24th, 2019 at 2:00 PM with sign up beginning at 1:00 PM at the Los Alamos Middle School.

FERENBAUGH IS TOP PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(9-24-2019)

Anna and Bobbie Ferenbaugh and Ted Romero had the best predictions for Tuesday's pace race.

Tuesday pace race was on a fairly-flat 1-mile paved loop mainly on Estante Way in Pajarito Acres. One could run any number of loops but with a requested time of 45 minutes or less. All distances from 1 to 5 miles were done.

The smallest differences between actual and predicted times in seconds adjusted to 3 miles were Anna Ferenbaugh (9 seconds), Ted Romero (10 seconds), Bobbie Ferenbaugh (12 seconds), Seth Thomas (15 seconds), Sanna Sevanto (16 seconds), Heidi Bjorklund (28 seconds), and Michael Cooper (35 seconds).

The fastest for 1 mile were Anna Ferenbaugh (10:03) and Steve Daly (10:15). For 2 miles, the fastest were Seth Thomas (15:50) and Kathy Daly (23:44). Aurea Rojas (28:10) and Tony Borek (28:21) were the fastest for 3 miles. The only 4-mile runner was Sanna Sevanto (30:31). For 5 miles, the fastest were Ryan Smeltzer (35:39) and Nikol Strother (37:13).

Next Tuesday's Pace Race on October 1st, 2019 at 6:00 PM , the last of the season, will start at the Smith's Marketplace parking lot next to Knecht Automotive. There will be 1 and 3 mile courses on the paved Canyon Rim trail.

ATKINS HAS PERFECT PREDICTION IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(9-17-2019)

Teddy Atkins had a perfect prediction in the weekly pace race held on the trail behind the Aquatic Center. Other accurate predictors were: Mark Bjorklund at 3 seconds off, Sean Thomas with a 7 second differential, Tony Borek recording a 11 second difference, and Roxana Candia and Cliff Stanley with a tie at 15 seconds.

On the 1 mile course 7 year old Leeza Trudolyubov was the top finisher with a time of 10:14 and 9 year old Logan Nolan was the first male recording a 10:15.

Zach Medin was the first finisher in the 5K distance at 24:08 and the best female was Sanna Sevanto with a time of 27:58.

Next week's race will be held in White Rock on the 1 mile paved Estante Loop in Pajarito Acres on Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 at 6:00 PM. Participants can run the 1 mile loop as many times as they prefer up to 45 minutes and predict their own time.

ATKINS IS TOP PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(9-10-2019)

Ted Atkins was only 3 seconds off his predicted time in the weekly pace race held in the Ridgeway Street/Walnut Trail area. Other accurate predictors were: Jackie Marr and Tamara Jurado with a tie at 15 seconds off, Duane Marr with a 27 second difference, 7 year old Lily Nolan recording 30 seconds off, and Zach Medin with a 34 second differential.

On the 1 mile course 9 year old Logan Nolan was the best finisher in 9:19 and Aurea Rojas was the first female with a time of 10:12.

Ryan Smeltzer recorded a 24:42 for top finisher in the 5K distance and Laura McClellan was the best female at 33:05.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 6:00 PM at the Trailhead right behind the Aquatic Center on Canyon Road. 1 mile paved and 1 and 3 mile trail runs will be available.

FERENBAUGH IS TOP PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(9-3-2019)

The best predictors for Tuesday's pace races were Charles Ferenbaugh (1 second off for 1 mile) and Zachary Medin (7 seconds off for 3 miles).

The pace-race was held on roads in Pajarito Acres and started on Acoma Lane.

Other good predictors were Bobbie Ferenbaugh (9 seconds for 1 mile) and, for 3 miles, Roxana Candia (12 seconds), Ted Romero (13 seconds), and Ted Williams (18 seconds).

The fastest runner for 1 mile was Chris Michel (9:22). For 3 miles, Ted Romero ran in 20:45 and Zachary Medin in 20:53.

Next Tuesday's Pace Race on Tuesday, September 10th, 2019 at 6:00 PM will start at the playlot at the end of 36th St. at Ridgeway Drive. Take a right off Diamond Drive heading Westbound toward North Mesa and Barranca Mesa at Orange Street by the Smith Auditorium and then take the 2nd left which is 36th Street to Ridgeway Drive. 1 and 3 mile trail courses will be available.

BJORKLUND AND NEWNAM TIE FOR BEST PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(8-27-2019)

Lynn Bjorklund and Brian Newnam had a tie for the top predictor in the weekly pace race held on the Bayo Canyon Bend Trail at 6 seconds off their predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Zeke Wilmot with a 32 second error, Ryan Smeltzer at a 35 second differential as well as the best finisher in the 3 mile distance recording a 22:39, Sanna Sevanto at 45 seconds off and the top female finisher on the 3 mile course at 24:35, Ted Romero had a 69 second difference.

On the 1 mile course 12 year old Libby Nolen was the first finisher with a time of 8:59 and her 9 year old brother Logan Nolen was the best male finisher at 10:38.

Next week's race will be on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 at 6:00 PM in Pajarito Acres in White Rock starting on Acoma Lane. Head on State Route # 4 West out of White Rock to South Monte Rey Road and turn left to Potrillo Road and bear right to Acoma Lane and turn right. 1 and 3 mile paved courses will be available.

MARR IS BEST PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(8-20-2019)

Duane Marr was the top predictor at 12 seconds off his predicted time in the weekly pace race held at the North Mesa Picnic Grounds on North Mesa. Other accurate predictors were: Cliff Stanley with a 27 second differential, Mary Snow at 36 seconds off, Jackie Marr recording a 39 second difference, Ted Atkins at 51 seconds off.

8 year old Levi Gibson was the first finisher in the 1 mile distance with a time of 7:48 and the best female finisher was 10 year old Anna Ferenbaugh recording a 9:58.

On the 3 mile course Ryan Smeltzer finished first at 20:43 and the top female was Sanna Sevanto with a time of 22:41.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, August 27th, 2019 at 6:00 PM and will take place at the Bayo Canyon Trailhead just North of the traffic circle between Barranca Mesa and North Mesa on the parking lot just to the left on North Mesa Road and down the hill. 1 and 3 mile mile trail courses will be available.

ROMERO IS TOP PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(8-13-2019)

Ted Romero was the best predictor in the weekly pace race held on the Lower Water Canyon Trail in White Rock with at 6 second differential from his predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Ryan Smeltzer at 29 seconds off as well as the top finisher on the 3 mile course at 23:34, Charles Ferenbaugh and Cliff Stanley had a tie with a 39 second difference, Lynn Bjorklund was 54 seconds off her predicted time and was the first female finisher in the 3 mile race with a time of 27:24, Steve Daly had a 75 second differential and was the best male finisher on the 1 mile course at 10:55.

10 year old Anna Ferenbaugh was the top finisher in the 1 mile race with a time of 10:55.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 at 6:00 PM and will start at the North Mesa Picnic Grounds on North Mesa Road near the water tower. 1 mile paved and 3 mile trail runs will be available.

NOLEN IS BEST PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(8-6-2019)

12 year old Libby Nolen was the top predictor in the weekly pace race held at rainy East Park with a 52 second differential from her predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Ted Romero at 54 seconds off and also the fastest finisher on the 3 mile course at 23:36, Mark Bjorklund had a 64 second difference, Jacqueline Nolan was 144 seconds off, and Lynn Bjorklund recorded a 214 second differential.

On the 1 mile course 9 year old Logan Nolan was the top finisher with a time of 9:17 and 7 year old sister Lily Nolen was the first female at 16:31.

Sanna Sevanto was the best female finisher on the 3 mile course recording a 25:56.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, 8-13-2019 at 6:00 PM on the trail in White Rock located 2.7 miles from the junction of State Route # 4 and Pajarito Road on State Route # 4 West towards Bandelier National Monument or approximately 10.3 miles from the Back Gate on State Route # 4 headed East.

GIBSON IS BEST PREDICTOR AND TOP 3 MILE FINISHER IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(7-30-2019)

Travis Gibson was the top predictor with a 3 second error as well as the best finisher in the 3 mile distance with a time of 19:27 in the weekly pace race held on the West end of the Canyon Rim Trail over by Smith's. Other accurate predictors were: Ryan Smeltzer with a 5 second differential, Mark Bjorklund at 16 seconds off, Roxana Candia, 8 year old Adrian Medin, and 7 year old Luke Gibson with a 24 second tie, Roxana was also the first female finisher on the 1 mile course, and Zach Medin with a 34 second difference.

8 year old Levi Gibson was the best finisher in the 1 mile distance recording a 7:37.

Sanna Sevanto was the top female finisher on the 3 mile course at 22:53.

Next week's pace race will be held on Tuesday, August 6th, 2019 at 6:00 PM and will start at East Park on East Road (State Route # 502) across from the fire station. 1 and 3 mile paved courses will be available.

CANDIA AND MARR TIE FOR BEST PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(7-23-2019)

Roxana Candia and Duane Marr each had a 3 second differential from their predicted time to tie for best predictor in the weekly pace race held across from the Laboratory "S" Site. Candia was also the fastest female on the 3 mile paved course with a time of 28:42 and Marr was the fastest male on the 1 mile paved course at 20:29. Other accurate predictors were: Adrian Medin at 19 seconds off, Zach Medin with a 25 second difference as well as the best finisher in the 3 mile paved course at 22:05, Sanna Sevanto recording a 28 second differential and the top female finisher in the 3 mile trail course with a time of 28:02, Kath Daly and Chris Michel each had a 42 second difference.

Sonja Behnke was the top finisher in the 1 mile paved course recording a 11:39.

On the 1 mile trail course 10 year old William Strother was the first finisher at 10:14 and Nikol Strother had a time of 10:17 for best female finisher.

Ryan Smeltzer was the top finisher on the 3 mile trail course recording a 24:43.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019 at 6:00 PM starting at the West end of the Canyon Rim Trail by the Smith's Marketplace parking lot next to the body shop at the end of Knecht Street. 1 and 3 mile paved courses will be available.

McCLELLAN IS TOP PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(7-16-2019)

Laura McClellan was the best predictor in the weekly pace race held in White Rock starting at Pinon (Rocket) Park at 2 seconds off her predicted time and was also the winner of the waist water bottle holder donated by Stan Kosiewicz. Other accurate predictors were: Aurea Rojas with a 9 second differential, Sonja Behnke at 18 seconds off, Kathy Daly recording a 51 second difference, and Ted Romero at 60 seconds.

On the 1 mile course 10 year old William Strother was the first finisher at 8:26 and Nikol Strother was the best female finisher recording a 9:11.

Ryan Smeltzer had a 21:16 for top finisher in the 3 mile distance and Sanna Sevanto was the first female with a time of 23:14.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 at 6:00 PM and will start on Route # 501 (West Jemez Road) across from the Laboratory "S" Site just past the 2 water tanks. 1 and 3 mile paved and trail races will be available.

SUAZO AND STANLEY TIE FOR BEST PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

9 year old Aurora Suazo and Cliff Stanley had a tie for top predictor with a 12 second differential in the weekly pace race held on the Golf Course maintenance road. Other accurate predictors were: Ryan Smeltzer at 16 seconds off and also was the best finisher in the 3 mile distance recording a 23:57, Mark Bjorklund had a 20 second difference, Ted Atkins was 27 seconds off, Kathy Daly and Charles Ferenbaugh had a tie at 30 seconds.

On the 1 mile course 10 year old Nate Pratt was the top finisher with a time of 8:27 and Priscila Rosa was the first female at 9:22.

Sanna Sevanto was the best female on the 3 mile course recording a 27:50.

BJORKLUND AND JACKSON TIE FOR TOP PREDICTOR

Heidi Bjorklund and Aaron Jackson had a tie for best predictor with a 4 second differential in the weekly pace race held on the Canada Bonito Trail up by the ski hill. Jackson was also the top finisher in the 3 mile distance recording a 23:03. Other accurate predictors were: Jackie Marr at 9 seconds off and the first female finisher at 18:05 in the 1 mile race, Ryan Smeltzer with a 14 second difference, Aurea Rojas at 65 seconds, and Mary Snow recording a 87 second differential.

Cliff Stanley was the best finisher in the 1 mile distance at 16:29.

On the 3 mile course the first female finisher was Sanna Sevanto with a time of 25:34.

MARR HAS PERFECT PREDICTION IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(6-25-2019)

Jackie Marr had a perfect prediction in the weekly pace race held out on Barranca Mesa in the Deer Trap Mesa race. Other accurate predictors were: Duane Marr with a 6 second differential, Michael Cooper recording a 55 second differential, Sean Thomas at 63 seconds off, and Mark Bjorklund at 72 seconds off.

On the 1 mile course 12 year old Jonah Pratt was the first finisher at 8:41 and Sarah Stangl recorded a 9:41 for top female finisher.

Zach Medin was first in the 2 mile distance with a time of 16:37. Roxana Candia finished first in the female category at 20:37.

On the 3.6 mile course Ryan Smeltzer came in first at 30:14 and Katie Gattiker recorded a 51:08 for top female.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019 at 6:00 PM just past the ski hill lodge on the Canada Bonita Trail. 1 mile paved and trail runs and 3 mile trail run will be available.

ROMERO IS TOP PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(6-18-2019)

Ted Romero was the best predictor in the weekly pace race held on the Power Line Trail off State Route # 4 at 1 second off his predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Sean Thomas at 4 seconds off, 7 year old Noah Saenz had a 18 second differential, Michael Cooper recorded 20 second differential, and Sanna Sevanto was 38 seconds off as well as the best female finisher in the 3 mile distance with a time of 24:52.

On the 1 mile course the first finisher was Steve Daly recording a 9:44 and the top female was Sarah Stangl at 10:11.

Aaron Jackson was the best finisher on the 3 mile course with a time of 22:29.

Next week's race will be held on June 25th, 2019 at 6:00 PM out on Barranca Mesa starting at the junction of Barranca Road and Navajo Road. 1 mile paved and 2 mile and 3.6 mile trail runs on Deer Trap Mesa will be available.

JOHNSON IS BEST PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

6 year old Tristan Johnson was the top predictor in the weekly pace race held up in the Jemez on American Springs Road at 6 seconds off his predicted time. Other accurate predictors were: Anna Teterovskaya with a 15 second differential, Ryan Smeltzer at 16 seconds off, Roxana Candia off by 18 seconds as well as the first female finisher in the 1 mile distance recording a 8:08, tied with a 21 second difference 8 year old Adrian Medin who also was the best finisher in the 1 mile race at 8:07 and Sanna Sevanto also the top female finisher in the 3 mile distance with a time of 29:29.

Zach Medin was the fastest finisher on the 3 mile course at 22:21.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 at 6:00 PM on the "PowerlineTrail" 3.2 miles from the State Route # 4 and Parajito Road junction in White Rock on Route # 4 Westbound toward Bandelier National Monument on the left or 10 miles after turning left at the Back Gate (junction of West Jemez Road/State Route # 501 and State Route # 4) and heading Eastbound on Route # 4 past the entrance to Bandelier National Monument on the right. 1 and 3 mile trail runs will be available.

DALY HAS PERFECT PREDICTION IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(6-4-2019)

Steve Daly had a perfect prediction of 10:30 in the weekly pace race race held by the Aquatic Center. Other accurate predictors were: 9 year old Anders Medin at 2 seconds off; 12 year old Libby Nolan with a 3 second differential as well as the top finisher in the 1 mile race at 8:23; Zach Medin recording 8 seconds off; and 8 year old Adrian Medin with a 9 second difference.

The best male finisher in the 1 mile distance was 9 year old Logan Nolen with a time of 9:54.

In the 3 mile race the first finisher was Sergey Trudolyubov at 25:25 and the top female with a time of 28:27 was Sanna Sevanto.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, June 11th, 2019 at 6:00 PM on American Springs Road approximately 1.4 miles on the right in the open parking area after turning right at the Back Gate which is at the junction of State Route # 501 (West Jemez Road) and State Route # 4 heading on State Route # 4 West up in the Jemez. 1 and 3 mile trail runs will be available.

GIBSON HAS PERFECT PREDICTION IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

9 year old Zach Gibson had a perfect prediction in the weekly pace race held in Rendija Canyon with a 7:42 prediction. Other accurate predictors were: 9 year old Anders Medin at 6 seconds off; Lindsay Gibson with 15 second differential; 7 year old Luke Gibson recording 24 seconds off; and 8 year old Adrian Medin with a 39 second difference.

On the 1 mile course 8 year old Levi Gibson was the top finisher at 7:05 and Roxana Candia was the first female recording a 8:08.

Zach Medin finished first in the 3 mile distance at 27:05 and Aurea Rojas was the top female with a time of 33:01.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, June 4th, 2019 at 6:00 PM and will start at the Aquatic Center right off Canyon Road. 1 mile paved and 3 mile trail courses will be available.

GIBSON IS BEST PREDICTOR AND TOP FINISHER IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

8 year old Levi Gibson was the best predictor and the top finisher in the 1 mile distance in the weekly pace race with a 6 second differential and a time of 7:32 held on the Burnt Mesa Trail in Bandelier National Monument. Other accurate predictors were: Aurea Rojas at 8 seconds off; Mariela Vargas recording a 26 second difference; Diego Leonard and Ted Romero tied at 27 seconds; and Ryan Smeltzer with a 28 second differential.

Roxana Candia was the first female finisher on the 1 mile course at 9:17.

On the 3 mile course the top finisher was Aaron Jackson recording a 22:05 and the best female finisher was Sanna Sevanto at 24:32.

Next week's race will be in Rendija Canyon out on Barranca Mesa on Tuesday, May 28th, 2019 at 6:00 PM by heading out to Barranca Mesa and by taking San Ildelfonso Road to the curve by the playground and taking a left and going down into Rendija Canyon approximately 3 miles from that turn past the Sportsman's Club to the small parking lot on the left. 1 and 3 mile courses will be available.

CANDIA IS TOP PREDICTOR IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(5-14-2019)

Roxana Candia was the best predictor in the weekly pace race held in the Quemazon Development with a 9 second differential off her predicated time as well as the top female finisher on the 1 mile course with a recorded time of 8:53. Other accurate predictors were: Zach Medin at 11 seconds off; Felix Candia with a 15 second difference; Zach Gibson and Adrian Medin tied at 18 seconds off; Anders Medin with a 21 second differential.

Levi Gibson was the best finisher in the 1 mile course with a time of 8:05.

In the 3.2 mile course Travis Gibson came in first at 25:21 and the best female finisher was Sanna Sevanto with a time of 32:09.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 at 6:00 PM on the Burnt Mesa Trail in the Bandelier National Monument 1.9 miles on State Route # 4 East on the right after taking a left at the junction of State Route # 501 (West Jemez Road) and State Route # 4 (The Back Gate). 1 and 3 mile courses will be available.

LEONARD AND BUCK TIE FOR BEST PREDICTION IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(5-7-2019)

9 year old Diego Leonard and 12 year old Sydney Buck tied for best prediction at 6 seconds off their predicted time in the weekly pace race held on Arizona Avenue and the Perimeter Trail area. Other accurate predictors were: Aaron Jackson at a 12 second differential; 7 year old Leeza Trudolyubov 15 seconds off; Laura McClellan with a 20 second difference; and 9 year old Logan Nolan at 27 seconds off.

8 year old Levi Gibson was the top finisher in the 1 mile distance with a time of 7:42 and 12 year old Libby Nolen was the first female at 9:01.

On the 3 mile course Travis Gibson was the best finisher recording a 22:53 and Lynn Bjorklund finished first in the female category with a time of 29:34.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, May 14th, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the Quemazon Development starting at the Quemazon Montessori School on Esperanza which is the first right at the first intersection after turning into the the Quemazon Development off North Road. 1 and 3.2 mile distances will be available.

GIBSON HAS PERFECT PREDICTION IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

9 year old Zach Gibson had a perfect prediction of 7:21 on the 1 mile course held on the Canada del Buey Trail in White Rock. Other accurate predictors were: Lynn Bjorklund at 1 second off her predicted time as well as the first female finisher on the 3 mile course recording a 23:31; Aurea Rojas with a 5 second differential; 6 year old Nate Pratt coming in at 6 seconds off his predicted time; and Sanna Sevanto with a 7 second difference.

On the 1 mile course 8 year old Levi Gibson recorded a 7:01 for first place and Roxana Candia was the top female at 7:47.

Aaron Jackson was the best runner on the 3 mile course with a time of 21:38.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, May 7th, 2019 at 6:00 PM and will start near the corner of 45th Street and Arizona Avenue by Fireman's Park. 1 and 3 mile courses will be available.

PACE RACE FOR TUESDAY, 4-23-2019 CANCELLED

The pace race for Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 scheduled for the Canada de Buey Trail in White Rock has been cancelled due to weather conditions.

Next week's race will be held at the same location---the Canada de Buey Trail in White Rock starting just West of the Chamisa Elementary School on Meadow Lane at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019.

BJORKLUND HAS PERFECT PREDICTION IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

(4-16-2016)

Lynn Bjorklund had a perfect prediction of the 24:00 minute time recorded in the 3 mile distance on the course held on the trail just North of the Brewer Rodeo Area on North Mesa. Other accurate predictors were: Ted Romero with a 14 second differential; Duane Marr at 15 seconds off; Katie Gattiker and Felix Candia tied at 18 seconds difference; and Zac Medin recording 31 seconds off.

On the 1 mile course 8 year old Levi Gibson was the best finisher at 7:14 and the top female was Roxana Candia with a 8:15 time.

Travis Gibson had a 19:13 for first finisher in the 3 mile distance and the best female was Sanna Sevanto recording a 23:45.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 at 6:00 PM and will on the Canada de Buey Trail in White Rock. It will start just West of the Chamisa Elementary School on Meadow Lane. 1 and 3 mile distances will be available.

NOLAN HAS PERFECT PREDICTION IN WEEKLY PACE RACE

8 year old Logan Nolen had a perfect prediction with a 13:14 time in the 1 mile race in the weekly pace race held on the lower Bayo Canyon Road at the bottom of Main Hill Road. Other accurate predictors were: Tony Borek with a 11 second difference; Lynn Bjorklund off by 13 seconds; Anna Trudolyabov coming in at 15 seconds off; and Chris Michel with a 18 second differential.

On the 1 mile course 8 year old Levi Gibson was the top finisher with a time of 7:18. The first female was 12 year old Libby Nolan recording a 8:39.

Travis Gibson was the best runner on in the 3 mile distance at 20:45 and Sanna Sevanto had a 24:12 for top female.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, April 16th, 2019 at 6:00 PM on the trail just North of the Brewer Rodeo Arena behind the horse stables on North Mesa. 1 and 3 mile distances will be available.

JACKSON IS TOP PREDICTOR IN THE FIRST PACE RACE OF THE 46th SEASON

(4-2-2019)

Aaron Jackson was the best predictor at 2 seconds off his stated time in the opening pace race of the 2019 season held on the Canyon Rim Trail. Other accurate predictors were: Michael Cooper with a 4 second differential; Isolina Viloria and Adrienne Hetrick who was also the first female finisher in the 3 mile distance at 20:11 both recorded 11 seconds off; Aurea Rojas was 13 seconds off; and Luke Hetrick the top finisher on the 3 mile course recording a 16:42 had a 18 second difference.

In the 1 mile race the best finisher was Nate Pratt at 7:50 and the top female was Roxanna Candia recording a time of 7:52.

The 1.5 mile run had Levi Gibson first with a 10:53 time and Linda Vance was the best female at 16:03.

Luke Atkins was the best finisher in the 2 mile distance recording a 13:24.

Next week's race will be held on Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 at 6:00 PM on the lower Bayo Canyon Trail on the way to pollution control plant. The race start is down Main Hill Road (State Route # 502) just past the State Route #4 junction to White Rock and taking an immediate left to the Trail head area. 1 and 3 mile courses will be available.
